Lawyers have said that they believe that MP Mahloof the spokesperson of opposition coalition will be charged with plotting to overthrow the government.

Mahloof was arrested last night while he was distributing face masks to the protestors inside MDP campaign HQ. Police took him to the police detention center in Dhoonidhoo last night. The police did not make any official statement regarding Mahloof’s arrest yet.

In addition the police confiscated mobile phones of MP Mahlof’s lawyers.
