IGMH opens the 3rd tobacco cessation clinic in Maldives. The other two clinics are run by ADK and Dhamanaveshi.
In a ceremony held at IGMH today to launch the clinics, the Director of Medical Service of IGMH Dr.Ali Nazeem said that even though smoking is considered something normal it is very dangerous. He said that it is highly addictive.
Dr.Ali Nazeem said that 25 nurses and doctors have been trained to work at the clinic. He said that the treatment at the clinic will be beneficial and urged smokers to use it.
