Maldives has established diplomatic relations with Central African Republic.
A ceremony was held on 24th of this month at the Maldivian Mission at New York to formalize the relations between the two countries.
Maldivian Ambassador to UN Dr.Ali Naseer signed the agreement to establish relations on behalf of Maldives and the Central African Ambassador to UN signed on their behalf.
With this agreement, now Maldives has established formal relations with 169 countries.
