Ooredoo has revamped its Text a Coffee service, a first of its kind innovation which now allows Ooredoo customers to gifta variety of favourites from popular food brands in the Maldivesthrough My Ooredoo App or a simple and convenient web portal.

Director of Sales & Brand, Hussain Niyaz said: “The concept of going for a coffee is something very unique to the Maldives, which is interpreted as catching up with friends or family over a simple drink or some food. Our “Text a Coffee” service is an innovative and fun way to reach out to loved ones, by sending them a coffee, food or even an ice-cream through a simple text message or web platform. We received a wonderful response from our customers during the initial launch, and we hope that they have a lot of fun with the new features”.

Text a Coffee now gives Ooredoo customers the opportunity to gift an array of drinks and snacks to friends and family from anywhere, at any time, through the Text a Coffee Portal at ore.do/txtcofy or My Ooredoo App.

The service is available to both prepaid and postpaid Ooredoo customers, and payments will be processed through their respective account balance or monthly bills.
The current menu includes a fantastic pick of drinks and snacks from Café’ Lyre, The Sandwhich Bar and Mövenpick.

Ooredoo customers can easily send a gift through Text a Coffee to any of their friends and family, on any local network.
