State Trading Organization STO has opened a power mix plant in Hulhumale. The plant was officially inaugurated by Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu and MD of STO Ahmed Shaheer.

Housing Minister Muizzu was also the chief guest of the ceremony. Speaking at the ceremony, the MD of STO Ahmed Shaheer said that the construction industry had a close relation with STO since long back. “With the vision of President Yameen who used to be the chairman of STO, the company has established it self within the construction industry” said Shaheer.

Shaheer also said that the power mix factory is the largest power mix factory in the Maldives.
