Saudi Arabia has signed an MOU with Maldives to provide affordable housing in Maldives.
The MOU was signed between the two countries in a ceremony held at the President’s Office today. Saudi Arabia agreed to provide funds for an affordable housing scheme and to develop the fisheries sector. So far the governments of Maldives and Saudi Arabia has not revealed any information about these projects.
Finance Minister Ahmed Munwwar signed the agreement on behalf of Maldives and Ahmed Bin Ageel Al Khatheeb the Chairman of Saudi fund for Development signed on behalf of the organization.
