President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has this morning arrived at Kaadedhdhoo Island, to begin his three-day visit to some islands in the North and South Huvadhu Atolls.

Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed to the island.

During this visit, the President is scheduled to take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of beach protection project and inaugurate the habour in the islands of Madaveli, Faresmaathodaa, and Gaddhoo. Moreover, President Yameen will initiate the services of the sewerage system and inaugurate the housing project in Gaddhoo Island.

President Yameen is scheduled to visit North Huvadhu Atoll islands tomorrow, and inaugurate the habour in Kondey Island, initiate the services of the sewerage system and inaugurate clean drinking water services in Kolamaafushi Island, mark the completion of road development project and inaugurate the housing project in Villingili Island. The President will also inaugurate the Fishermen’s Marina in Kooddoo Island
