MDP’s presidential candidate, Ibrahim Mohammed Solih have said that he will not give chance to anything that might undermine the sovereignty of Maldives.

Speaking to the people of R.Innamaadhoo, Ibu said that the international community should try to ensure free and fair elections in the Maldives through international norms and established frameworks.

Ibu said that he will never give a chance to anything that mine undermine the sovereignty of Maldives and that an opposition government will always stand by Islam and the sovereignty of Maldives.

Ibu made this statement during a time an Indian MP has called to invade Maldives if the election is rigged.
