President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has visited Mathiveri Island of North Ari Atoll this afternoon, as part of his current visit to some islands of North and South Ari Atoll and South Nilandhe Atoll.

During the visit, President Yameen met with the island’s community.

Prior to his visit to Mathiveri, President Yameen visited Dhangethi Island; inaugurated island’s harbour and clean water services and visited Mahibadhoo Island and marked the completion of road development project in the Island.

President Yameen will also to visit Thoddoo Island and Kudahuvadhoo Island as part of this two-day tour.
