BUCG contracted with developed Madivaru Airport

Beijing Urban Construction groups has been contracted with developing Madivaru airport.

The agreement was signed with BUCG at a ceremony held at the underwater restaurant in Huravalhi Maldives.

The government contracted Kurehdhoo Holdings to develop the airport and Champa Moosa from the company signed the agreement and Lee the international president of BUCG signed on behalf of the company.

It is estimated that around 50 million dollars will be spent to develop the airport and Kuredhoo Holdings will invest the money. The airport will have a 1200 meter runway.
Speaking at the ceremony, Champa Moosa said that the airport will be opened in June 2019.
