After 13th October no court will accept any cases related to the presidential election held on 23rd September 2018.
According to the constitution all grievances related to the elections should be filed at the court within 14 days of the official election results and the case should be concluded within 30 days.
The official election results were announced on 29th September at 10:50 am. Hence the deadline to submit cases is 13th October.
Speaking about the matter to Miadhu News, the President of the Elections Commission said that he is not aware that any other cases regarding the election has been submitted to any court other than the case filed by President Yameen at the Supreme Court.
