President-elect Solih has said that he will repeal the anti-defamation act within the first 100 days of his administration.

He made this statement while speaking to the staffs of Vmedia during his visit to the station today. He said that the biggest challenge the media faces today is the anti-defamation act and hence he will repeal it.

“We will do everything we can for the press” said President-elect Solih.

President-elect visited SanguTV and Vmedia today to thank the journalists for providing news and information to the people during the elections.
