Thoddoo constituency MP, Ibrahim Hassan has said that the current government grants the truly poor and the disable the allowances allocated for them.

Ibrahim Hassan made this remark speaking at the Majlis during plenary debate was held on the Bill on Amendments to the Disabilities Act (No. 8/2010), tabled by Anara Naeem, MP for Makunudhoo.

Ibrahim Hassan expressed his thanks to Anara Naeem. He said that he is very thankful for the bill being submitted by Anara despite bill needing amendments.

He said that the government should ensure that these allowances are granted to their rightful people.
