Aishath Shamail Hussein has won the first place in the MNDF’s second Quran competition’s MNDF family category.
The award giving ceremony was held at Coast Guard building yesterday. The Chief Guest of the event was the General Manager of the Sisilfaru Hajj and Umrah group, Hamid Nasheed.
Sergeant First Class Hussein Firaq Hasan won the first place in the Soldiers category, winning the Ramadan Umrah opportunity.
Aishath Azha Azmin won the second place in the competition. Third place was won by Aminath Shafa Shaheen.
7 soldiers, 37 people from the families, 17 students from the Kudakudhinge Hiya orphanage participated in the competition.
Sergeant First Class Hussein Firaq Hasan won the first place in reciting from the Quran by looking at the Mushag. Aminath Shafa Shaheen won the first place from the Quran memorization category.
