Islamic Affairs Minister, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has urged all people to participate in the joyous occasion of the Eidul fitr.
In this regard he called as many as people to participate in the Eid prayer and to enjoy this great holiday of the Muslims.
Dr. Shaheem said that the biggest aim is to strengthen the bonds between the people and unite the Muslims. He said that this is from the prophetic Sunnah.
The Minister also extended greetings to the people of the Maldives and to the Islamic ummah, especially those who are oppressed, on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul-Fitr.
