Bank of Maldives Plc, Largest banking Service in Maldives, has launched an easy Cash Back service for the convenience of our customers today.

According to BML, using Cash Back, customers will be able to withdraw up to 15% of the bill amount, in cash, when a purchase is made using a BML Debit Card.

The service is available at no additional cost, and customers will only be charged the amount of the purchase and the amount the customer wishes to withdraw. For example, if a cardholder purchased an item of MVR 1000 and requested for a cash amount of MVR 150, a total amount of MVR 1150 will be debited from the cardholder’s account.

The customer will receive the purchased item and MVR 150 in cash.

Commenting on the service, BML Retail Banking Director Mr. Mohamed Shareef said, “By introducing the new Cash Back service,

we hope to provide our customers with even more convenience as BML customers can now withdraw small amounts of cash even while shopping. “Retailers too will enjoy the added advantages of increased sales volumes, increased loyalty due to the added convenience of providing cash back service to customers, as well as reduced cash handling and simpler cash drawer balancing.”

Initially, BML Cash Back service will be available from outlets of Agora, Free Guys, Guys 2000, Lecute, Lecute Electronics, Red Wave, Repute, Smart Phones, Smart Electronics and Sonee Sports.
Additional retailers will be added in the coming months.
