India – Maldives Foreign Ministers discussed matters of bilateral importance and on further strengthening the close ties of friendship between the two countries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms Dunya Maumoon Yesterfay met with the Minister of External Affairs of India Ms. Sushma Swaraj on the sidelines of the seventieth Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Foreign Secretary Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed and Joint Secretary Ms Farzana Zahir also participated in the meeting.
