Ministry of Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim has stated that 75 percent of the population will receive water and sanitation within this five-year term.
He made the statement speaking in the launching of the sanitation works at HDh. Nolhivaram.
Minister said at the start of this term only 37 percent of the population had proper sanitation networks, while 25 percent had access to clean water.
Minister Thoriq said he was assured that these development projects will ensure that President Yameen will be elected in 2018 as well.
