ADK hospital has introduced 8 medical packages named “enhancing lives”.
Speaking to the press the MD of ADK Hospital Ahmed Afaal said that the packages introduced today includes packages for, sports, gynecology, diabetes, cancer, thalassemia and tests for different diseases.
Afaal said that subscribers of these packages will not have to wait in ques and appointment can be made in advance. Also doctors will consult the patient prior to the test and see whether if there are any concerns.
Some tests in thalassemia package include tests that are usually done abroad.
The prices of the packages are between 3000 to 6000 Rufiyaa. Some of these include MRI tests as well. In addition, several other expensive tests are included in the packages.
When tests are done via these packages, specialists will consult the patient and also will make special reports. Also a special staff will be assigned to the patient from the moment the patient requests for a package, till all the processes are over.
Afaal said that they introduced the package after researching the pricing of the packages in hospitals frequented by Maldivians abroad and urged people to compare the services of ADK and other hospitals in the region.
