Chancellor of Maldives Islamic University Dr.Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed have departed to India on an official visit. According to Islamic University, Dr.Shaheem is travelling as a special guest of the Indian Government and on the invitation of the Indian foreign ministry.

During his trip, he is expected to meet with officials from Aligalhu University, Delhi University, Jamia Malia Islamiyya University and Jawaahirlaal Nehru University. Also he will meet the Maldivian students presently studying at the Universities.

During his trip, he will discuss with various officials to obtain and develop human resources to Islamic University.
