Chief of Defense Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam has departed to United Arab Emirates.
He is visiting UAE to take part in the 13th International Defense Exhibition and Conference which will be held from 18th to 23rd February. Major General Ahmed Shiyam was invited to the conference by Staff of the UAE Armed Forces.
The Commander of Marine Corps Brigadier General Ali Zuhair is accompanying the Chief of Defense Force in this visit. Chief of Defense Force is expected to return Maldives on 24th February.
