Deputy Leader of JP Ameen Ibrahim have said that Qasim’s properties are being seized like picking bananas from a bunch of bananas.
He made this statement in a video message he sent to the function held by JP last night to award tickets to the party candidates contesting in the upcoming local council elections.
He said that Qasim is facing all these things because he is on the right path and is working for reform. Ameen said that even despite all the challenges Qasim is standing his ground due to his love for the nation.
Speaking at last night’s ceremony, Qasim said that while civil court rules in favor of his companies, the high court is over ruling these verdicts. Qasim also said that he heard that the government is planning to freeze the accounts of Villa Shipping and Trading for the second time.
Qasim said that he is not worried that something Allah gave is being taken away by Allah. However he said that if the accounts are frozen, he is worried that he will be unable to pay more than 5000 people who work for him.
