Islamic University of Maldives and Anti-Corruption Commission of the Maldives have decided to hold a conference to raise awareness on corruption. The conference will be held from 10th to 11th May.

Islamic University stated that they prioritize on conducting such conferences in association with various state institutions to solve the problems in the society. IUM stated that there is a special center focusing on research regarding various problems in the society.

IUM said that the achieve this goal, the research center will conduct workshops and conferences with institutions in the Maldives and with organizations abroad. Papers will be presented at the conference by ACC, and institutions related to criminal justice system.
