JP leader Qasim Ibrahim has been arrested again.

A tweet by Maldives Police Service states that they have taken Qasim into custod under court order for a ongoing case.

A large amount of police officers went to Qasim's residence and took him into custody. However it is not clear why he was arrested.

Last night Qasim stated that he will not stop his work to reform the nation even if he is shot dead. He vowed that he will not stop the work he is doing to make sure that the independent institution of the state are able to act impartially and responsibly.
