Civil Court cancelled the hearing regarding the case submitted by JP about the government’s ban on JP from using JP party logo and flag. Civil Court cancelled the hearing after the Election Commission fialed to submit the statement.

Council member of JP, Ali Solih said that the hearing was cancelled because the statement that should be presented by EC was not ready.

The council of JP decided to do everything they can legally, to prevent the home ministry from banning JP from using the party logo and flag. The Home Ministry banned using JP logo and Flag saying that it resembles the national flag of Maldives.
