Maldivian businesses will benefit immensely as a result of this year’s Kunming fair : Economic Ministry

Economic Ministry have stated that Maldivian businesses will benefit immensely as a result of this year’s Kunming fair.
Speaking at a press conference held today at the ministry, officials from the ministry said that as a result of this fair many new doors were opened for Maldivian businesses. He said that they achieved the goal of taking part in the fair.
According to economic ministry the purpose of participating in the fair is to market Maldivian products in foreign markets and to increase productivity of Maldives.
Maldives has taken part in Kunming Fair in the past four years. Four businesses from Maldives took part in the fair this year. The fair had more than 8000 stalls from 8 different South Asian countries, 11 East Asian countries and from various provinces of China. This is the largest fair of this kind in the region.
