Even on 30th July we sent a letter requesting to meet the Chief Justice or the judges of the Supreme Court. But we couldn’t do that” said Yumna.

Yumna said that 4 parliament members have filed cases to the Supreme Court when the Elections Commission decided that these four members have lost their seat. She said that all hearings of the cases have ended now. She said that the cases involve the right of many parliament members and is related to national interest, because the issuing of verdict has been delayed.

“From what we hear, the judges have discussed about the matter and reached a verdict. But due to some influences they have delayed issuing the verdict” said Yumna while speaking to the journalists.

She said that the purpose of meeting the Chief Justice is to express their concerns and to requested to issue the verdict quickly because there is a parliament session tomorrow.
