Housing Minister meets 2 PPM parliament members regarding the recently awarded flats

Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu have met with 2 PPM parliament members regarding the recently awarded 661 flats from Hulhumale’.
Dr.Muizzu met with MP Asmaa and MP Abdullah Rifaau. The two members submitted the same complaints filed by the opposition as well. They claim that the flats were not awarded to the most deserving people.
Meanwhile, the opposition members also tried to meet the Housing Minister regarding this matter however they had to leave without meeting the minister.
Many people say that this has happened because the ministry awarded the flats to people who do not deserve it and then allowed people to make complains regarding the flats. People say that if the government stated that they gave the flat to whoever they want, then no one will question or complain. They said that however, awarding flats to people who got 30 points in the assessment and not giving flats to people who got 100 points is a slap on the face of the people.
There is no law which obligates the government to award flats to people who get a specific number of points and hence the government can give flats to whoever they want.
People believe that if the flats were awarded to the people who deserve it then the number of people who support the government will increase. However, because how this ended a lot of people will now hate the government.
