We hope Villa College to turn into a fourth generation university : Dr.Ahmed Anwar

Rector of Villa College, Dr.Ahmed Anwar have said that he hopes Villa College to become a fourth generation university.

Speaking at the ceremony held to mark the 10th anniversary of Villa College he said that in the past 10 years, they face many challenges. He said that it was very difficult to overcome most of these challenges.

He said that, many people doubted that a private company can manage a quality university.

“Qasim Ibrahim the founder of Villa College had a huge interest in providing higher education to Maldivians. He sent students to study abroad and then he wanted to bring quality programs from abroad and conduct it in Maldives. He wanted as many people as possible to take part in these programs. This is a huge interest of his” said Dr.Anwar.
