Chancellor of Islamic University Dr.Shaheem Ali Saeed have called Maldivians to raise voice to protect Jerusalem where Masjid-Al Aqsa the third most holiest mosque for Muslims is located.

Dr.Shaheem said that he believes that Maldivians should raise voice in defense of Jerusalem.

“Making Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will be the beginning of the destruction of Masjid Al-Aqsa. This is act is against the whole Islamic ummah” said Dr.Shaheem.

Many countries are raising concerns after President Trump decided to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
