Adhalath Party has condemned the arrest of family members of judges and political opponents.

A statement issued by the party today states that the party condemns the arrest of Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed, Justice Ali Hameed and former President Maumoon. In addition it said that the government has curtailed fundamental rights unconstitutionally.

Furthermore it states that arrest of family members of the judges is unlawful and also against the international conventions signed by Maldives.
