MP Saud of Villingili constituency have said that when he visited the Supreme Court today he saw that the court had a huge military presence and that hence he cannot believe that the judges can issue a just verdict.

Saud said that the judges can issue an impartial verdict when a safe environment is provided to them and if the military is inside court the judges will always be in fear. “This is a fearful situation for the judges. The chief justice and another justice was taken to jail in front of them. If the current judges issue a verdict which is not liked by the government, then they will face the same fate and they know it” said Saud.

Hence legal experts say that the verdicts issued by the Supreme Court are now questionable.
