Former Defense Minister Colonel (Rtd.) Mohammed Nazim has met with the President-elect Ibrahim Mohammed Solih today. 

Colonel Nazim was in Malaysia for medical treatment and returned to Maldives last night. The meeting was held at the office of the president-elect this morning. No further details of the meeting has been revealed yet.

Speaking to the press at the airport last night, Colonel Nazim said that he will do everything in his capacity to defend and sustain the government of the president-elect.
