MP Abdullah Riyaz is to be appointed as the PG leader of JP and MP Ali Hussein is to be appointed as the deputy PG leader. 

In a meeting held at JP’s HQ, Qasim Ibrahim said that he resigned from the position of PG leader because he assumed the position of the speaker of the parliament. 

He said that a meeting of the PG group will be held tomorrow, and all the members have agreed to appoint Abdullah Riyaz and Ali Hussein.

Abdullah Riyaz is currently the deputy PG leader of JP and the political advisor to Qasim Ibrahim.
