Former Defense Minister Colonel Nazim have said that he was jailed because he did not support theft and criminal activities. 

He said that President Yameen has difficulties in repeating the same thing twice. “It is in President Yameen’s nature to make others commit crimes. I had to say no to many things which the president requested me to” said Nazim.

Nazim said that he does not want to go into details of those things but when the incoming government starts investigating many things will be revealed. He said that some of those things involves money laundering. “I said not to that kind of things. I believe that I was treated that way because I refused to take part in those things” said Nazim. 

He said that President Yameen’s plan was to end his political career but with the will of Allah he has started his career just now with JP.
