Speaker of the parliament Qasim Ibrahim have said that eradicating corruption from the society should be made into a national goal. Qasim Ibrahim said this on the statement issued by the anti-corruption commission on International Anti-Corruption Day.

The statement which was published on a quarterly magazine of ACC, states that it is important to identify the root causes of corruption and work to solve those issues. He further said that, the services provided by the state to the people needs to be provided in a transparent manner and it would help to eradicate corruption.

Qasim noted that, one of the biggest challenges to national development and the greatest obstacle to provision of the national wealth equally to everyone is corruption.
