Records published by the Tourism Minister has shown that the tourism arrivals has increased in the month of November compared to other months.

In November alone more than 600,000 tourists visited Maldives. This is a record amount compared to tourist arrivals in other months. Most of the tourists to Maldives are from Europe. It shows that 643655 tourists visited from European countries while 567891 tourists visited from Asia-pacific region. Meanwhile, from the Americas 61044 tourists visited. Lastly 47597 tourists visited from the middle east.

The time tourists spend in Maldives has also increased by 10.4 percent according to the records of the ministry.
