Famous Islamic scholar Mufti Ismail Menk gave a religious lecture last night at Male’. Hundreds of people gathered to listen to him. 

Even though the lecture was in English and it was telecasted live, hundreds went to hear him live. That shows how popular the Mufti is in the Maldives.

In his lecture he spoke about the beauty of Maldives and said that everyone should work to maintain the beauty Allah has bestowed upon Maldives. 

He also advised to thank Allah for blessings. 

The Mufti is very popular in the Maldives and has given lectures in Maldives even in the past.
