Health Protection Agency of the Maldives has revealed that another Maldivian has been tested positive for covid-19.

The fourth Maldivian was in an isolation facility and upon developing covid-19 like symptoms was tested and found positive. The individual also returned from the United Kingdom. So far all the Maldivians who were tested positive for covid-19 has travel history to the United Kingdom.

The government has now begun testing everyone who returned from UK from 14th till 19th March in an effort to prevent a community outbreak in the Maldives.
