Lawyers are worried that the trials are rushed : Hisaan

Lawyer Hisaan Hussain have said that the lawyers of the people who were arrested during the state of emergency are worried because the trials are rushed.

Hisaan said that the trials are carried out until late night and then again the defendants are asked to present their case by the next mid-day. She said that because of this the lawyers do not get time to consult with the defendants.

“Even now corrections says that all the time slots for lawyer-client meets are filled until Saturday” said Hisaan.

Hisaan said that the lawyers are really concerned that the lawyers are not allowed to meet and discuss the case with their clients.
