MP Ibrahim Muhammad Solih have said that all the revenues of the state are taken for personal use and all the services are provided through debt ridden companies.
Speaking at a rally held by the opposition last night, Ibu said that majority of the state revenue is spent on giving salary to political appointees and the remaining is used for personal use. He said that as a result the debt of the country is increasing day by day.
He said that after plunging the country into a debt trap, now the government is extremely oppressive, and the people are worried about it.
Speaking at the rally, Ibu noted that Mariyam Saeed the poet who passed away last Thursday was also someone who supported reform movements.
