Elections Commission have said that the President of the commission Ahmed Shareef went to the police station to clarify some information requested by the police and not regarding an ongoing investigation.
The lawyer of the Elections Commission Riffath said the Commission does not whether any authority is investigating any case related to the Elections Commission.
Riffath said that they shredded the ballot papers as per the regulations and hence he does not believe that there will be any problems.
