JP’s leader Qasim Ibrahim have said that the leaders of the coalition have joined hands to bring development to the country.
In a press conference held at Hotel Jen after the 4 leaders met for the first time, Qasim said that all the leaders should work for the betterment of the people. He said that they should refrain from oppression and corruption and provide for the prosperity of the people.
Qasim said that all the leaders agreed to work together in the meeting and that they want to serve the people faithfully.
Speaking at the press, former President Nasheed said that the 4 leaders joined to serve the President-elect. He said that they gave the president-elect the full authority to make his cabinet and he will do it keeping in mind that there are 4 parties in the coalition.
