Maldives Correctional Service has denied the rumors that the Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan and his deputy Hassan Zilal has resigned.
There were rumors on social media saying that they have resigned. However the media official of MCS, Ahmed Luqman said that some people are using his phone number to spread fake messages on social media.
He said that they did not resign and that they will remain executing their duty.
