MP Abdullah Ahmed has submitted a no confidence motion against the Prosecutor General Aishath Bisham.
Bisham used to be the legal secretary for President Yameen before she was made the prosecutor general.
Before submitting the motion, MP Abdullah warned Bisham of submitting a censure motion if she does not resign.
