Assistance Commissioner of Police Mohammed Jamsheed and Ahmed Mohammed has been dismissed from their positions.
Jamsheed was heading the intelligence department of police while Mohammed was heading the Crime Command of police. Now both of them have been transferred to Regional Operations Command department of Maldives Police Service.
The head of regional ops is Assistant Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen. Hence Jamsheed and Mohammed are now subordinates of Naveen.
So far police has not commented about their dismissals.
