Elections Commission of the Maldives has given permission to Ismail Asif to form a political party.
Elections Commission tweeted today saying that they have given permission to form a party named “Maldives Third way Democrats”.
According to Asif, he decided to make a party because there are many political works that needs to be done and because he wants to serve the people.
He said that they have already started the work of gathering support. According to some sources an important political figure will join the party sometime today.
