Ministry of Health has taken over the management of Hulhumale’ Hospital. It was previously run by Aasandha company.
Khadheeja Abduh Samad the permanent secretary of Health Ministry said that the President’s Office informed that the hospital has been changed under the purview of the ministry. However it is not clear why this change was made. The hospital was changed under the administration of Aasandha in 2016. Development brought to the hospital includes an oncology center, MRI service, CT scan and mammogram service.
According to recently published audit reports, Aasandha company invested 193 million Rufiyaa on the development of the hospital.
