Famous historian Mohammed Waheed Nadhuwee has passed away. He passed away while undergoing treatment at IGMH.
He is a famous scholar of Maldivian history and language. Nadhuwee is a scholar of political science, Islamic knowledge and literature. He has a master’s degree in literature from Aligalhu University of India.
Nadhuwee used to facilitate lectures on history and language. He has many publications to his name on the history of Maldives.
He was a deputy director and Dhivehi Language Academy.
