Buses to Hulhumale’ will start charging for bus trips starting from tomorrow. The buses are operated by MPL and a touch link card should be used to pay the bus fare.
One card can be used by multiple people and the card will be sold for 20 Rufiyaa. Cards can be bought at the main bus terminal and Hulhumale’ bus terminal as well. Cards can be recharged at these points for now but in future it can be recharged from shops as well.
So far the busses to Hulhumale’ operated for free.
